Welcome to the ESP game.
The game is very simple. Simply "transmit" by doing a very simple matching exercise (and, ideally, by exerting psychic effort), or "receive" by choosing from among the same set of patterns (ideally based on some intuitive mechanism). To mix things up, sometimes there will be no human transmitting, and sometimes there will be no human receiving.
My hope is that helpful statistics will be gathered from this experiment, so I encourage you to not cheat. At the same time I am going to make it rather hard to cheat, and with just a little traffic it should become impossible to cheat. I won't explain how cheating could occur, that will be up to whoever might take it upon themselves to criticize results inferred from the generated statistics.
